Jemth was up on the ledge of her weyr when she over heard dragons talking by the lake. She purred as she contacted Airy mine, love may we go down to the lake the queen and hers are down there with a brown they have been talking for a bit but i don't think they would mind if we join them.
Airy sat up form relaxing on her bed and smiled. She walked over to her dresser and grabbed a pair o shorts and put them on in place of his pants in case she felt like going for a quick swim. Alright lets go but before you land make sure you check to see if it's ok that we join them.
Airy got on Jemth's back and they took off toward the lake. once they were close enough to the lake Jemth contacted the gold Tarasaith my dear Queen would it be alright if we join you at the lake? Jemth landed far enough away form the lake before she got her answer to join them.

O'bej gave an easy smile now that his brother's place at dinner was settled.
"Well, over at Telgar, it was a given that to separate me and my brother was a bad idea. Neither of us tends to be very effective without the other, you know?"
O'bej chuckled at the faintest wisp of a memory, and then continued speaking. "We even Impressed together, and when they tried put the two of us in different Wings, it was, in practical terms, like having neither of us in either Wing."
Perhaps another man would have tried to cover up his faults, especially when talking to a Lady of Quinn's caliber, but O'bej knew who he was. It didn't bother him that without his brother to supply some motivation he was listless and out of sorts. That was merely the way he was.
"So when my brother was asked to come here- He's a Searchrider, you see, it was pretty much a given that I would also come along."
A Green passed by overhead, but O'bej didn't bother to look up. It wasn't his brother's Green(He could spot Yari almost as well as Dev), and therefor wasn't all that important. Instead, he continued oiling up the shiny hide of Tarasaith.

Quinn had settled into the routine of oiling and was making quick work of it. She had twenty two turns of practice and did not expect the brownrider to keep up with her. She stood on Tarasaith's forearm while she reached her back. "It is interesting that you were permitted to remain so close since family ties are often discouraged at the Weyr. I am glad that you were able to keep your brother close to you. I have not seen my siblings in over twenty two turns." To which she shrugged as if they meant very little. " Of course I was not so close to mine as you are to yours." Looking back at her family as she remembered them made her somewhat sad. She was nothing like them.
I am being oiled Jemth but you are more than welcome to join us. We will not be here too much longer. Tarasaith responded to the green. She generally liked all dragons except for Queens and never saw greens as competition. Maybe that was vanity but a Gold was a completely different dragon than a green and Tarasaith knew this.
"I suppose it would be nice to see more people with close friends and family here. Igen Weyr is a bit of a shock and it helps to have those you trust most around you. The Weyr has to build up before it can truly be a family to all that live here." She was thinking aloud but he was welcome to make comments. Very little upset Quinn during discussions.

"Well, I'm just close to O'sarl." O'bej admitted. "I've got a sister I've met twice- though she is a good ten turns younger than I am, and maybe another brother or two. But me and O'sarl, well, we fostered together and we're close in age as well. I suppose that we are an oddity in the Weyr, but you have to admit, there are a lot of people who bond during Weyrling training, and stay together the rest of their turns."
O'bej paused in his oiling, and looked up at Quinn(being that she was oiling the top of her dragon, and him more in the middle), and opened his mouth. He then shut it, frowned slightly, and opened his mouth again.
"Twenty two years is a long time though." Longer than he'd been alive, not that he would admit it. "Maybe you should go and see your siblings." He chuckled. "And if you need an excuse, you could always go on Search. After all, if they produced a Queenrider, I'm sure they've got youngster's capable of Impressing our Greens and Blues!"
Though it was odd. He had really given any thought to the idea that if he was at Igen, it might actually be years before he went back to Telgar to see his relatives, and old friends, and ex lovers. He'd really just followed O'sarl with no thought at all. That wasn't an entirely comfortable though, though he supposed he was just acting like a sterotypical Brownrider, and following blindly whomever he'd decided was the leader.
Well, no harm no foul. He'd still make the same decision if he was asked again.

Jemth purred as Tarasaith told her that they may join. Airy love let go over to the lake. Airy smiled as she hoped on to her dragon and they flew over to the lake. Jemth landed at the edge of the water and purred.
Good day Tarasaith she turned toward the brown that she didn't know And I don't think I have met you before I'm Jemth.
Airy walked over to the weyrwomen and O'bej and smiled "Hello weyrwomen and O'bej, how are you both doing today?" Airy looked at the gold and smiled as she put her hand on the golds neck "How are you today Tarasaith"

Greetings Jemth. Tarasaith said amiably. The Gold was used to conversing freely with greens and found them to be quite stimulating conversationally. The only problem with greens was when they flirted with the males, who were obviously hers. Not that she could blame them they were far more influenced by their more flighty emotions than she herself was. At least there were no Golds here to steal her thunder.
"Wonderful to see you Airy. I trust you are finding everything to your liking here?" She looked over at the greenrider, returning the smile that Airy showed to Tarasaith. "She isn't big on talking to people other than myself. Tarasaith is quite chatty with other dragons but leaves me to deal with humans because we understand eachother better. She is well. Raring to go actually."
Then to O'bej she replied, "I doubt my siblings want to see me. Who knows, maybe none of them are alive now." She didn't want to say she had no desire to return to that seahold. The smell of dead fish was enough to make anyone wish they were elsewhere. The ocean was different when it was your livelihood even if she had enjoyed swimming. Chores that had to do with cooking, gutting or chopping fish were not fun. Just about as fun as fixing fishing nets and cleaning boats. She much preferred her life now. How far she had risen from a simple seaholder's daughter.

(Hey, Sarah, Dev isn't on the lake anymore. He flew off because he was embarrassed.)
O'bej smiled and nodded at the Greenrider(her name was Sheri or Nari, if he remembered correctly, though he didn't always), deciding to answer her questions properly after he'd finished with Quinn. After all, the conversation with Quinn had begun well before the Greenrider had even considered coming to see them.
"Well, if that's the way it is, then that's different," O'bej replied with a wink, and a nod. And he was pleased to note that Quinn remembered the Greenrider's name(Airy). He took a quick look at the Greenrider, and nodded to himself. Most Greenriders were pretty good looking, and this one was no exception. Not as subtle with her beauty as Quinn, and not the one he'd choose(at least not currently), but good looking. It was always nice to know your potential Wingmates weren't eyesores.
"I'm well, becoming a bit hungry." He finally got around to replying. "You?"

The Goldrider noted that they were all now in a place where there was not much to say. Having finished oiling the Gold she looked over at O'bej. "Thank you for your help." Quinn then turned to the greenrider and said, " I hope you don't mind, we were going to grab a bite to eat. You may join us if you are interested."
She rather doubted the greenrider wanted to eat with the Weyrwoman but she couldn't invite the one without inviting the other. It would be rude to do so. Propriety was not her strong point as a younger rider and now that she was a Senior she had to be sure she was being fair.
Tarasaith walked a few yards away from them and then rose into the sky. Out of habit Quinn watched the Gold until she was outside of squinting distance. "Alright, well I'm hungry too. No point in wasting the day." she said with a smile. She would need to eat and then get going on some of the records. Igen was not the same as Fort and only a fool would treat it as such.
