I know you've heard most of this before but it makes people aware of what is expected. 
Rules...
1. ABSOLUTELY NO GODMODDING
2. No Mary Poppins (people who are practically perfect in every way)
3. No extreme violence unless permission is granted by the Admin (Message me first)
4. If you are going to have a MATURE thread, please post in the title that it is mature. I do not know the ages of everyone Rping here.
5. If you have a problem with someone, contact me, don't add food to the fire.
6. No one may rp a character until it is approved.
7. No excessive swearing. Remember on Pern they don't use the same words. (Use shards or deadglow instead)
8. No characters from the books.
9. No unbeatable characters... everyone has a weakness.
10. PLEASE be at least SEMI LITERATE - LITERATE
I expect at least a paragraph from each post. If you need help writing more than that we would be more than happy to oblige
11. Any Metallics will be under a lot of scrutiny. If you plan on playing a Gold or Bronzerider please take into consideration the time that you will have to put into it. (This goes for all rankers!)
12. Weyrlings and Candidates post in the lesson threads. If you are a weyrling and you don't post your dragon could get injured or held back from graduation. Candidates that don't post will not impress a dragon (Even if we have to impress all NPCs if you don't post, no dragon)
13. Also we have NO firelizards. Igen has not seen one in hundreds of turns and for that they are considered myths.
14. Please pm HG for any twin requests, they may or may not be accepted. This includes NPCs. (Twins on Pern are about as rare as Gold dragons. to give you an idea)
15. NO HADs...unless given permission by HG
16. 3 Character limit per person with a metallic, 4 character limit for someone without a metallic. (This is unless given permission to create another character by an admin or two mods)
17. I reserve all rights to ban people for doing any of the things listed...
